November 24th, 2006I walked into my favorite local scapbook store to just grab a few sheets of black cardstock. It was full of eager shoppers. I gazed around at the empty bins of adhesive and cardstock. It took me a while to process it all. The store was closing. With sadness, I filled up my cart. This scrapbook store was the last store where people knew me by name. Oh, sadness!
A few weeks later, I opened my newsletter from my favorite on-line store, Down Memory Lane. It was closing. That was just beyond sad. I knew the owner and some members from the trip to Arizona. I had spent two plus years daily chatting with the members on the message board. It was a true community. Jill, the owner, will keep the message board going as long as possible. A sale is on so feel free to come by and shop. Here is a tribute to the women who made this board a very special place. (It’s also my first all digital layout!)

Oh my gosh…Denise..this is so touching and yes…so sad..but after this last week…we all know that we will find a way to stay together and in touch daily…that is a true test of friendship and we all saw how strong it really way!
